| She Wanted a Baby |
| By Eric G. Schneider |
| Monday, Feb 23, 2009 10:44 |
IVF, Acupuncture, all had failed her in her attempts at having a baby... 33 year old woman in fairly good health wanted to be a mother so badly she was basically making herself completely stressed out. She had a baby that did not make it. She had been trying ever since. We worked through the entire process of the loss of her first child and helped her really embrace the fact that she was already a mother, even though her child had passed. After that she was still worried that she would not get pregnant and not deliver...we worked through this by helping her have this be a part of her past and not define her present and determine her future. Well she is having a baby!!!! What a privilege being able to do this work! |

| I want Mr. Right, but I am only finding Mr. Right now. |
| By Eric G. Schneider |
| Monday, Feb 23, 2009 10:43 |
37 year old professional woman. Well put together. Depressed about her relationship status... "it's going no where." She would meet people, go out on dates, get into a relationship with them...and would eventually break up. This was not a case of traumatized childhood, bad parenting, or a father that did not show her love. This was a skills issue. She had not clarified what she wanted in a partner...I call it the list of non-negotiables. These are the must haves. Once she had the list, I explained to her what usually would happen...she would overlook it...and each time she did, she would be sending her sub-conscious mind a message saying that she was not worthy of having a relationship with the person she wanted. Our work was on supporting her in sticking to her list and as she would her self-esteem would improve. This was wrapped up in 3 sessions. The reason I am writing this? Well she emailed me a year later...she is getting married!!! LOVE MY WORK!!!! |

| Easing financial worry with Hypnosis |
| By Eric G. Schnieder |
| Tuesday, Nov 25, 2008 10:47 |
More and more people are turning to hypnosis and hypnotherapy to ease their financial worries! This recent article in the Wall Street Journal discusses some of the ways hypnosis has been used to help ease the current anxiety so many feel. Many have lost their jobs or sit with a sword of Damocles hanging over their head...wondering when it will be their turn. Others have lost fortunes in the stock and real estate markets and are faced with huge shifts in life-style causing more and more stress. This constant worry and fear inhibits your ability to make good decisions and may cause you impaired judgment. In addition to the unpleasant experience of this kind of compounded stress, many lose much needed sleep and turn to eating and other more dangerous addictions to try and ease the pain. But it does not have to be this way - hypnosis offers a simple and effective way to ease the worry and get in touch with your own inner wisdom, empowering you to navigate these difficult times. In my own practice, I have personally seen a 35% rise in finiancially worried clients and are helping them stay calm, cool and collected. An interesting note in all of this is that as these clients improve it has an immediate POSITIVE impact on their families as well as their colleagues, coworkers and subordinates. If you are one of the financially worried and would like to know more about how hypnosis can help you, call now and schedule your FREE phone consultation! 1-866-773-7399

| Rachel Ray, scared of a little harmless bug! |
| By |
| Monday, Jul 14, 2008 10:49 |
This morning I was watching the animal segment of the Rachel Ray show. What can I say, I love animals. Anyhow, a bug (a harmless bug mind you) was brought out and Rachel ran to the other side of the studio. This is no laughing matter. Fears and phobias can impact our lives in negative ways and while Rachel can probably just keep away from those critters and not feel frightened, other fears are more challenging because we can't just walk away from them. Aside from bugs, snakes and other creepy crawlies, there are about 530 different kinds of phobias. If you have a fear which is limiting your life, now is the time to take action. Phobias can be completely overcome. A phobia (phobic response), is an intense irrational fear, a strong emotional reaction or response to something that kicks in the "fight or flight" response, as it is so commonly nicknamed. These intense emotional feelings of fear associated with what is called a "phobic response", are equated with feelings of terror, fright, and even death. So severe, that those that suffer would do almost anything to avoid the situation and/or object or place at all costs. Stop suffering and set yourself free! Call and find out how hypnosis can help you! 1-866-773-7399 |

| Why some people just don't get well! |
| By Eric G. Schneider |
| Sunday, Jul 13, 2008 10:51 |
First let me just say this whole terminology is just off. It puts things in the contradiction of "well/not well" as opposed to where one is in this current moment.
What makes us "unwell" is often the notion that what we are experiencing is somehow "not right." This idea then becomes its own restraining force to discovery and it becomes the focus of our minds. We spend our time trying to "change" what is instead of discovering what the meaning is of this experience.
In other words the very thing that we are trying to do becomes a restraining force to getting "well."
This type of resistance is insidious because it seems on the surface that one is doing one's best to change, however paradoxically it causes us increased emotional suffering and becomes an inhibitor to getting "well."
This often manifests in obsessional "working" on oneself. The inference to the sub-conscious mind is "there is something wrong with me." This negative suggestion becomes an ongoing loop and becomes the very thing that one "works" on!
So let's get one thing straight. There is nothing wrong with you. You may have changes in your life that you want to make and hypnosis can help you make them and it can help you heal the most important relationship in your life and that is the relationship with yourself! |

| It's not just about Hypnosis |
| By Eric G. Schneider |
| Sunday, Jun 01, 2008 10:56 |
Many people think that going to a hypnotist is like going to the cleaners. They think that they can come in, drop themselves off and pick themselves up when they are ready. But that is not how it really works. Within the context of the hypnotic state (naturally occurring alpha type state), work can be done more effectively and efficiently. Hypnotists make use of a wide variety of techniques and methods to help their clients achieve their goals. Direct suggestion, indirect suggestion, metaphors and stories, we utilize hypno-analysis (age regression) in order to find cause and correct early misunderstandings. We utilize parts work, gestalt type dialogue, forgiveness work, hypno-drama, future pacing and the list goes on and on. Hypnosis is NOT a once size fits all, it must be tailored to your needs! |

| Fear of flying |
| By Eric G. Schneider |
| Tuesday, May 27, 2008 10:58 |
Now I just dislike flying instead of being scared out of my mind.
For years I suffered so with my fear of flying. It kept me from doing a great deal of teaching all over the world. I pretty much avoided it when ever possible. It was just awful. I remember one flight to Wisconsin, which seems tame enough. I took 60 Mg. of Valium, more than enough to knock me totally out. Well my flight response was so activated that it overrode the drug's impact on my system and only when I was off the plane did it kick in. On a scale from 1-10 my fear was at 100. Now, thanks to hypnosis and self-hypnosis, it is down to a manageable 2 and the only thing that kicks it in is bad turbulence. As I mentioned, I don't like to fly but at least I am no longer terrified of it! |
